Today I took our children on what has become one of our annual Christmas outings to visit Santa at Streamvale Farm. It is a wonderful place and very dear to our hearts as it is run by my husband's Aunt and Uncle and their fantastic family.
If you've not paid Streamvale a visit, put it on your list for next year. There is so much to see and do throughout the year. They reopen at Easter.
The Christmas story rides are magical. Tucked-up with blankets everyone took their seats in the back of the trailer. As the tractor took us up to visit and feed the deer one of the elves told us a brilliant story about how the Streamvale deer helped Santa save Christmas for all the boys and girls of Northern Ireland. The children were gripped! After feeding the deer, taking a walk back through the nature trail and seeing the animals we went inside to a tree-lit room to make our very own reindeer food before meeting the man of the moment himself! A lovely festive day out with the family. I couldn't recommend it enough!
